My mate's van got 'broken into' a few days ago and they nicked his Makita drill and impact driver.

Apparently Dorset Police have charged 3 people from Shaftesbury, and they have recovered a considerable amount of power tools.
If you've had any power tools nicked from around this area please contact Dorset Police. Their number is 01202 222222, or you could probably use the new 101 number.

Hi,

Nice one Adam, I'd like to see these people strung up or put in the Stocks.
I someone pinches a car then I think they should face the penalty for stealing £20000, not a slap on the wrist.

Same as a drill, Oh it's only a drill, no it's not its £500.

If you nicked £20000 off of somebody then you would be inside!. Rant over.

Regards.

I hate the b*****ds that steal tools. I had all mine stolen years ago and it was 12 months before I could replace everything, I just didn't have the money.
I was taught as an apprentice " If someone steals your wage packet they've robbed a weeks work from you. If they steal your tools they've stolen your living so keep an eye on both."

Stealing someones method of providing for His/Her family is the lowest form of theft ever prison is to good for them, put them on s large site and leave the rest to the guys on site.:angry:

I concur with the previous thoughts, having had £13500's worth of gear chorred in the past...but what still surprises me,is the number of lads who have given me the "I'd hang em' from the lampost" speech, only to go and buy obviously chorred tackle themselves. ALWAYS bought straight, even when it hurt,to avoid that particular hypocrisy, which has allowed me the freedom of choice and clearness of conscience,on the three occasions they have come,in the daytime,to steal my new Ifor Williams trailer....and yes, they were "repelled" :6:
