    Folks. I need to install a defib unit outside on a wall. Does this require an RCBO or not, just wondering as the unit has a small heater within and should it trip out for any reason other than under fault conditions (it is in a dampish environment, a harbour) it will get damp. So MCB or RCBO...

    Gents I have this time clock, does anyone know how to overide the programme so it is permanently on, I cannot find the instruction leaflet and the new Schneider instructions make no sense. Many thanks.

    Megger just calibrated and I have been doing the tests for a few days now, it is just these few that are odd.

    Gents. I did some earth loop tests on Rolec power pedestals (2x 16 amp outlets) that are harbour side, looped in and out from one another. Three months ago I got Zs readings from about 1.2 ohms to 0.50 ohms. This time round the readings are all less than 0.01 ohm. Megger MFT meter. The RCD in...

    What, just what goes through a civils mind when they plant a street lighting pole sideways then someone else plonks a pillar down right next to it making cable work nigh impossible, these setbacks are sent to test our patience. Anyone else had this type of thing.
