If the CCU is unable to take RCBo's, you could always put a couple in an enclosure next to the board, I'm sure that wouldn't break the bank too much and still quicker and cheaper than a complete board change
Also notice the neutrals of the RFC in separate terminals, no blue sleeving to the grey conductor used as a neutral or brown sleeving to the black but most worrying is the 3 32A CBs feeding 2.5mm cables
They look like training boards and I am sure you will be given full details on these when you start your course. What type of course are you starting on?
That's not the fault of C&G, more the companies that deliver the courses who falsely promise. There is actually a declaration for students to sign that they will not be electricians when they finish but improvers/mates
I wonder why he is still using 17th Edition EICR.
On a side note, to NAPIT, as a tutor I am forever trying to get students to use correct terminology and then I see "main earthing conductor" and "figure of 8 test" on this document.
Agree with above, as all the circuits are effectively controlled via one MCB I assume the loading is not very high, so do you actually need a contactor?
p.s love those space invader light fittings, very retro
Any work , temporary or permanent must comply with the latest regulations. By the sounds of things you know what you are installing probably does not comply
RCD's are also at the "origin of the circuit" I don't take that as necessarily individual to each circuit. It may be more to do with the operation of the device itself, but cannot see why split load AFDD's would not work
Although I think you could argue that arc faults, and the damage caused from them, are likely to be the fault of the installer, so it may end up on your head
