Scantime was started in 2004, after developing and launching the first form of PLC and SCADA e-learning courses, providing a unique look at these systems and the programming involved. Popularity in the e-learning series grew and over the years, we have furthered our e-learning platform, as well as developed industry leading, hands-on courses due to the expertise and experience gained from working in the automation industry for over 45 years, working with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Omron PLC’s.
We are now providing training in over 40 countries worldwide, delivering PLC and SCADA Programming courses to major blue-chip companies and individuals professionally, ensuring the safety of engineers on the shop-floor and integrity of a process.

EAL: We are approved as an officially recognised EAL Training Centre to provide EAL recognised hands-on PLC and SCADA Programming training courses. EAL is the specialist awarding organisation for the engineering, manufacturing and professional trades sectors.
Tyne Met College: There's a serious lack of qualified PLC engineers in industry and we see our collaboration with TyneMet, in practical hands on training and e-learning courses, as a major step forward in filling that skills gap which is impacting on safety and productivity in the workplace.
The TTE Technical Training College: The TTE Technical Training Group is the UK’s leading provider of technical training to the oil & gas, process, manufacturing and engineering sectors. Mitsubishi Electric: Delivering all Mitsubishi Accredited PLC, HMI, SCADA and DRIVES training courses at our Scantime Training Centre in Gateshead through our Mitsubishi Training Partnership.
Thorpe Academy: We are actively engaged in promoting Industrial Engineering to students at Thorp Academy. Our aim is to raise the numbers of Engineers entering the exciting and lucrative field of Automation.
