What this man says :) I have about 40-odd Motorola UHF Radios with a 5W transmit power, and some chunkier desk sets with 25W transmit. I also rent them out if anyone in the SW needs some for bigger jobs.
Well, the other thing that I considered was pressure pads by the doors, so when you stand by the door, it undoes the maglock. but that wouldn't work for a wetroom, and may be too big, plus then the door closes behind you and locks!
Breakglass outside would be a solution, though in my suggestion...
Why not put a microswitch in the catch well of each door manual lock. Wire each microswitch in parallel. Each door also has a maglock. If someone goes in and locks the door, the maglock on the other door also engages, all at the same time. That way you don't need to worry about light being on...
Yep, you can buy ready made patch cables in 0.25m length as well to aid in wiring closets like this.
Consider the customer's needs in the switch though; how many ports will they need? do they need gigabit capabilities? do they need power over ethernet (POE) for things like access points? do...
Yes, he'll probably need a switch in the cabinet to connect to each of the ports and then to the home hub, unless of course the number of actual data ports they need are less than the number on the home hub (which, I think, is 4).
Hehe, yep. It'll be a bit more than that, the units need substantial work on them, new electrics top to bottom, new heating, the roofs need looking at, he's got to buy more racking, cctv fire, etc. It all adds up. We sat around in the office and I think we reckon he's going to have to shell out...
Hehe, easy mistake to make, done it enough myself! High bay is all very well and good, but takes a while to come on and warm up, plus I think they prefer the flourescent light in the warehouse, though we are looking at LED floods. 10w are about £10 each, which is cheap as chips, and may be the...
You can always nuke them if you want. This means you go back through the last 6 years of invoices and do them for a late payment charge and interest for every invoice that was paid late.
Look up the late payment legislation - it's on your side!
Why not look into escrow schemes?
There's been changes mooted to the late payment schemes for big projects also where the contractors are paid from a special account for the project, and payments must be made for all the contractors involved from this account in turn...
Hey All,
I have a client who's about to buy up the units next door to his current warehouse, and fit it all out similar to his current warehouse and move buildings (double the size).
We currently use a pair of 5ft Fittings per aisle under his mezzanine floor but we're looking at fitting...
