cheers guys. good shouts streamer and Dave, the picture i saw was in a tiled area so bathroom or even cooker area is possible. yeah i did suggest exactly that Gavin, if it needed to be waterproofed. a nice coloured perspex or something and make it a feature!- Karin

No cpc to lighting circuit, no rcd protection 50 year old wiring
i'd be suprised if any IR testing was done there! seems he forgot he'd already recommended a C1 rewire of the lighting circuits as he was scribbling +200 in every box.. :rolleyes:- Karin

16mm tails with 100A fuse ???
just for the craic, tne or other cables are usually stripped back to single insulated conductors inside an enclosure (so may closer reflect singles in trunking for that part), meter tails are usually sheathed right to the termination point. would this (how much?) affect the argument? i've had a...- Karin
