We use the BS on 220/400 and the NEC on 120/208. This is a BS install.

Clarity , the heat trace cable does not leave the small building but wondering of RCD protection is still required. Thanks lads.

Currently overseas and inside a small pumphouse heat trace is required. Wondering if I need double pole RCD protection for it? Thanks in advance.

Difficult gaining experience.....

Any decent spark will tell you that the first two years of your apprenticeship is simply grafting. Humping , chopping , fetching and learning the difference between a flanged coupling and a long stand. The next two years is spent figuring stuff out , how not to do it and also how to fix your...
