    Hi Andy, Not to my knowledge - my Elios4U (and my SolarEdge) don't show any 'gaps' in generation though there are many peaks and troughs. His ploy is mainly that these overvoltages ARE going to happen and therefore the PV+ module will be working and generating 20% more registered generation...

    Generation meter for solar panels not working

    Forgive me if this comes across as stupid but have you checked if your solar fuse has tripped? On my system a constant red light on the GM means no mains power to the inverter, the red light being powered by the battery in the GM. Might be worth checking all your connections to the array.

    I'm the same, I deal with them and SSE and have done so for 3 or so years. Never a problem with Scottish Power, humoungous problems with SSE but I've not had a problem with either, up to now, about submission of readings. Times they are a'changing!

    Just as a point of interest, I actually take a dated photograph on the 1st of each month of both the generation meters I have. Anybody believe that they would accept them as genuine and not faked, if my meters were to go down?
