Hi. Im just about to resit my FICA test in edinburgh. Im only resitting the fault diagnosis section. Can anyone who has sat the FICA be able to give me some advice while trying trying to find the faults with the continuity buzzer you get to do it with
 
You just need to know what to expect when testing individual cables…. What should be open circuit, what should be short circuit.

Know the difference between very high or very low resistance if using an MFT. Anything in between those ranges, is possibly a hidden resistor switched into the circuit by the examiners.

You only get a martindale continuity buzzer dont get a multi fuction tester. I will attach photo of buzzer
