Hi all, have a job doing some garden lights. Want to use flexible conduit as I can fix to a wall that is then being battened out so no need for armoured. I would normally use black .75 pond flex for this sort of job but can only find it in 3 core and need 4 cores. Whats the opinion of using normal flex? It shouldn't be used outside but will be contained for most part apart from a few inches where it comes through the batten into the fittings (no danger of sun damage). Artic flex would be another option but getting it less than 1.5mm is a pain. Any thoughts

You can get 4 core HO5 rubber flex. Not saying it's the right stuff to use in your case, but you can get it.

Is there any likelihood of people vandalising it? Just thinking it could be an issue bearing in mind it sounds like it's on the side of the wall which is alongside a walkway. You wouldn't know it had become damaged either.

If this is a risk then maybe galv conduit?

4c H07 would be my first port of call, always.

Update - I think I got the wrong thread here sorry.
