Discuss Flex used to connect upto 10 light fittings together over about 20 mts in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

as long as the flex can carry the load and is protected accordingly, it's OK.

why is flex not used more often , it is easier to work with you dont need to sleeve the cpc , doesnt kink as much as t&e , could flex be used for the likes of a final ring circuit , is there anything in the regs that says you shouldnt use it for the likes of that?

There's nothing in the regs ....... but your wallet wouldn't be too happy.
