Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum today and I'm looking for some advice.
I recently bought a new pir sensor LED flood light for the back garden. I removed the old fitting after taking a photo of the wiring but (like an idiot) I've managed to lose said photo.
What's throwing me is that I (think!) I recall that the two neutral wires were joined end to end using a separate connector block whilst the twisted live and CPC wires were inserted into the block inside the lighting fixture. I can't see how this would create a circuit to power the light. I've attached some photos to illustrate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (even if it's just to get an electrician in which I am already considering!) Many thanks in advance!
