My mate has asked me to put together a cheap lighting rig for him similar to the one below

DIY Halogen to CFL conversion on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I was thinking of using 2 150W PIR photocell spot lights $ 8.48

Spot Light 150W Black PIR Photocell Floodlight - NoLinkingToThis, Where the Trade Buys or even adding a third

or possibly a 500w black PIR Photocell flood light

Spot Light 500W Black PIR Photocell Floodlight - NoLinkingToThis, Where the Trade Buys

I have wired security lights usings fuse spurs and flex before
can the lights be wired with flex straight on to a plug

any suggestions on putting together this rig

Can't see a problem mate,a lot of the lights pictured,you can usually put plugs on them.Make sure you change the fuse to 3A
