I wanted to find out if there is a way to connect Multiple inverters in series for a higher voltage. My Idea was since the inverters are limited on the amount of amperage. So if you can start with a high voltage from the inverters, then connect it to a step-down transformer. This should decrease the voltage but increase the amperage. What are your thoughts?

TL;DR
Series multiple inverters to get a higher voltage
