I want to become an Electrican

Hi everyone. I’m not sure I posted on the right thread. I’m a 22 year old trying to get into the industry the colleges around me don’t have courses for my age and there’s no apprenticeships. I’ve been considering doing a course with one of these online places such as access. If any one can give me advice on my best options I’d appreciate it. I don’t want to fork out money to do a course if the quality I’m getting isn’t worth it. Cheers

You can ask @Dan for a "trainee" tag, and he can maybe move this into a different section.

I'm surprised no college can accommodate you.... it shouldn't matter what age you are are whether you are self-funding or not. The course will be the same.

I think once a course has been found we've got your back on here. Consider XS Training. And always factor in stopping in cheap accommodation v fuel traveling more local you can find its cheaper and less mental stress stopping near one that's good and quick than going for months local and it taking years longer.

Is access you mention, access training wales?
