Am fitting a new pir led floodlight . The exsisting light is connected to 4 core round flexible cable, core colours green/yellow, blue, brown and black .

Should i use the green/yellow , blue and brown and just terminate the black

Many thanks

What was the black wire doing before.

Is there a switch to override the sensor to keep the light on ?

The other wire may connect to other lights?

Looks to me like:
Brown, permanent live
Red, switched live
Blue, neutral

I stand to be corrected, but that's my take.
