Set 42022 hot rod

just a little one here. Steering, moving pistons and easy system to make it a convertible.

Day 94
Set 42038, artic tracked vehicle.

got a spare one of these, so built the second model as well.
Both have steering, and a winch. Main model has tipping bed, and is motorised for just the tipper, and lifting the crane. Winch and rotation of crane is still manual.

Set 42032. Compact tracked loader. “Bobcat” type

gear on rear lifts arms. Levers either side tip bucket or close the forks over the bucket.

Set 42037, off roader

Front and rear suspension, steering and moving pistons.

Set 42035. Mining truck.

Small model of a big machine.

steering, single piston and tipping rear.

Day 98
Set 42050 Drag racer

Strange design, but plenty of functions and big, big wheels!

Steering, lifting cabin. Moving pistons.
Rear frame holds battery box when using electric motor. Extra weight makes it wheelie when going forward.
Also has a wheelie frame underneath that can be moved down.

Set 42049, mining loader

I’m sure this is based on a real vehicle…
Steering, pistons and lever to lift the grabs at the front.

tomorrow is going to be big.

This is it… the big one. Or it was at the time. There have been bigger since, but in 2016, this was the biggest at 3929 pieces

Set 42055. Bucket Wheel Excavator.

Battery with only one motor, uses 3 sliding gears to control main vehicle movement, rotation of the superstructure and the digging bucket and conveyors.

Emmet minifigure added for scale

Day 101.
From the biggest to one of the smallest. Hardly technical at all. Gear wheel on side lifts the wheels. That’s it.
