I'm adding a new lighting point in a bedroom, the installation is protected by RCB.
Will this comply with the regs ADS or will i have to protect this circuit with by RCD

any help on this i would be grateful

What is the rating of the RCB?

as its an alteration to an existing installation and you are not making things worse you are fine as long as the RCB rating is ok.
