Discuss tests in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

I'm sure a lot of people do :) Is this a study question or is there another reason you want to know this.

as you're new, i'll allow a bit of latitude. obviously dead tests before energising. then break that down a bit further. you don't IR test a circuit until you've determined that the circuit is complete. i.e. continuous. so continuity, the IR, then you know it's safe to powere up. then live tests, Zs, then test |RCD.

Think about the sequence of tests and if they need to be energized and if you could do them if energized or not??? eg, r1+r2??? What would happen if you linked out Live and CPC then turn it on???
