Wants down lighters in the canopy outside by the bay window and the front door. Just a query really, are there any special down lighters for outside use e.g. Ip 55 or 56.
Any help would be brilliant thanks lads.

These are IP65 for external sofits

Any IP65 rated units should be fine and there's quite a few around. If she's really strapped for cash and they're far enough under the soffit that they're completely sheltered you might get away with a lesser IP rating which could be a little cheaper.

Wouldn't of thought you would have to go as far as ip65 rated for under soffits.

If an outside light can be ip44 then why is something thats under a soffit going to require ip65?
