Just wondering how that keypad would work on a shutter door, where you would normally hold the button or sprung key lock over to go up or down. Most lock keypads have lock timing built in.
I normally use the ACT5e keypads and haven't had an issue with them yet.

If you want it to be secure, then a wireless keypad would be better.I want to put a code pad via a time delay relay on a shutter door, any recommendations?

Do a search for wireless keypad door openers.
Because the keypad isn't hard-wired to the door opening mechanism, so you wouldn't be able to simply bypass the keypad. How is wireless more secure?
