Got them from the website i linked to. It's set by the users of it. So i assume fairly average.

You can compare yourself to others in your field and in your area etc

Well not sure what the minimum wage is but I do know that the electrical trade has never been particularly well paid....would love to hear from anyone who earnes the large amounts claimed and find out how they do it.

I work for a company but we are all required to be self employed as limited companies so we have to supply our own vans. we are paid on a pay when paid basis which seems normal now and

Why don't you just go and 'stack shelves' at Tesco for significantly more than £8k take home per annum.

I'm struggling to believe this to be honest. If you're set up as a limited company paying for vans, tools etc etc and all the associated hassle then £20k take home should be an absolute minimum requirement or you may as well go and work for someone else IMO.

Well I guess that's what they think we are worth
I doubt it, they should expect to pay an absolute minimum £18 per hour, for a fully qualified sub contractor, and that is still cheap! I know of one electrician who charges £16 p/h and he is flat out busy! But he only does domestic and supplies nothing but himself and a few tools.
