Discuss Wall chaser & vac ? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Thanks for this guys.

I have found the Makita vac online for about £280 but the Nilfisk ALTO aero is only £130 that quite abit of difference if they do the same thing? Also once you chase the wall out with this machine what's the best way to cut the channel out?

I have the bosch wall chaser and withit came a thin chisel that fits into the cut slot, lever it sideways and big clean chunks of the chase come out, just get the hammer and tidy up and protruding bits after.

yesterday I picked up a makita wall chaser for £125 in a second hand shop, thats a bargan as brand new they're £400! I've yet to get a hoover.

What I tend to do (as I share a hoover & chaser with my boss) is chase the wall then sds with a chisel bit, nothing done by hand apart from the socket or switch boxes for the fine chiseling.
