Where is the correct place to terminate a seperate earth ran with a SWA ??

Hi all. I have noticed there are two schools of thought here when running a separate earth with a SWA to a large DB, where is the correct place to terminate the earth ? . We can go straight in to the internal copper earth bar as we have spare unnumbered holes for it , or we can lug it and go on the steel bolt post inside the DB,, Which is correct and why please peeps.

As long as the 2 options are well bonded to each other electrically I don’t think it makes a difference.
some installations will suit one way better than the other.

Both are correct and acceptable, it often depends on what makes the most sense for the layout or just plain personal preference.
