Zs readings

Hii all I am pretty new to this job and was wondering if somebody could just give me some advice on Zs readings?

What would be most likely the cause of high Zs reading's say on a cooker or sockets circuits if Ze is ok?

A breakdown in the cpc could cause high zs readings.

This is why R1&R2 is important.

well if ze is fine then that leaves R1 line or R2 cpc

Well the first thing to consider is how do they compare to the R1+R2 readings for the circuit in question.


A high impedance could be caused by a number of things.....circuit length, size of conductor, poor conductor terminations/high resistance joints.
