A few weeks ago I took some advice from the forumists when I asked about college/institution/Center around kent offering 17th edition standalone exam.
I embarkle on online journey perusing lot of pages without joy, but I have finally found one who are charging £270 for 2hrs exam.
Is that the normal cost ?

Looking at some of the Training establishments they are talking of £450 plus for course and exam, but that is with a money back guarantee if you don't pass, just goes to show the stupidity of paying nearly 500 quid to learn how to navigate a book, if you are confident you can take and pass the exam then find somewhere else.

Hi - this is the one I used, studied at home and attended for the exam. It's just a bit cheaper at £200 :)

You are right Pete, it's exactly what I want to do, learn to navigate the book myself, then I do exams

Thanks Loki, unfortunately am miles away on kent

Where abouts in kent?
I lived in birchington, margate, westgate & broadstairs when i was a kid. Moved around a lot lol.

You could try calling colleges & seeing if they will book just the online exam?

Some training centres like tradeskills4u, ableskills might start offering free or reduced 18th edition course/exam if you do the 17th first.
