Hi all

I have a job wiring/re-wiring a pub.

Can anyone give me an idea about how beer pumps are wired, and any other relevant information to do with how they work?
I appreciate there are different types, but this is a general question.

I also wondered if it was possible for me to test the old ones to see if they are any good - they haven't been used for a while.

Thanks for any help.

If you are on about the coolers then all the ones i have and have also seen just plug in to standard 13a socket .
If you mean the main cellar chiller again the one i have and have also seen just run of a 16a - 32a supply .

For the coolers just make sure they are topped up with water and turn on , if they do not get cold you have a problem !
As for the main cellar chiller just turn it on and if it don't get cold , the same again .
