I agree with all the above about the warranty thing but as I said, this is what the kitchen fitter said, so let him crack on.

As you already have a FCU for each appliance, replace the single socket with a connection plate. If any appliance has a fuse in the moulded plug less than 13 amps, put that in the FCU and label the FCU with the fuse rating
