Duo 500i wiring

Help! I’ve recently bought a second hand Dimplex DUO 500i storage heater.
Can anyone tell me where the three wires in the picture are wired to?
This board is on the front panel convection heater.

So It looks like the block is for the mains connection. Live, earth and Neutral, make sense, but can anyone explain what the ‘P’ pilot connection Is please.

The BLACK pilot wire is designed to carry a signal from a compatible remote programming device. If, however, a remote programmer is not being used, the appliance may be connected to the fixed wiring of the premises simply by cutting back the BLACK pilot wire, ensuring that it terminates within the outer insulating sheath of the supply cable. DO NOT connect the BLACK PILOT WIRE to earth. When the programmer drives other radiators, connect the pilot wires together in series. Any 240V insulated cable may be used to link pilot wires around the ring main. A low signal current is used.

Thank you so much for that. So am I right in thinking the other live and neautral wires go straight into the mains supply? I’m just a bit concerned that the wires going from the block to the PCB look a bit thin.

Other live and neutral wires? Note the earth is connected to the threaded stud not into the plastic block.

The supply to the block shown is for the always on 24Hour supply to power the controls and the radiant panel element, which is only 600W (about 2.5 Amps) so the internal wires don't need to be big.
The off peak supply side of this heater is 2600W (about 10.8 Amps) so those internal wires will be larger.

Would you typically route the control cables to a always on supply and the off peak supply to a timer?
