Before anyone asks I am a qualified spark.. been off the tools for years and getting back into it..
In regards to EICR’s it’s been a while..
Acceptable to add R1 R2 to Ze for ZS or do you all test all 3 anyway? I know it’s not acceptable to ZS and take off ZE to get R1 R2..

measure R1+R2 or R2 so you can stick something in the colummn. i usually do R2 with a wander lead to the faceplate screws, (saves taking faceplates off ). then measure Zs where practical (socket adapteror/ rose cover off). educated guesses can fill any blank boxes.tin hat on.

I prefer calculating Zs. And if I do I don’t then measure it as well.
If rfc end to end measurements are spot on and the CU is a complete rats nest I might occasionally measure Zs on the rfc at several strategic points, especially spurs if they are identifiable. But only after checking it’s a ring.
