Replaced an old fuorescent strip light with new fitting as old one was tripping lighting circuit. Problem still there, wiring looks fine. Tee puzzling thing is it trips when you switch the strip light off. Swiching it on is fine!
Any ideas?

I have the opposite problem - mine trips when switching on.

I'm thinking of replacing the RCBO with a nail. :devil2:
 
capacitive discharge maybe.....emf causing the MCB to let go......do a continuity between all conductors then IR between all conductors...to prove the circuit first....if cable/s come back good....put a c type MCB in......
