I'm used to the IET on-site guide but as I prepare to splash out on the latest edition i see the NICEIC site guides also being pushed.

Anyone had experience of both ?
Pros\ cons etc of either

They are not the same the IET on site guide has all you need in it! And the abacus books or unite or whatever guise they are under now! The site guide by the NIC has half the story imho, had a look at it at the wholesalers and it seemed to be missing a lot of the tables and other useful things so I put it back and went for the lbb (little blue book)

On Site Guide is the proper one. I found it really annoying to have the Site Guide as part of the regs package.
Just another scam the NICEIC have dreamed up to extract you hard earned, plenty of other deal's around where you can get both IET publications. ELEX as an example.

I got mine from forum sponsor @Test-Meter . No forum discount at the moment but still a deal on both as good as I've seen.
Just remember IF you are an IET member, as I was before I retired you got a very good discount from them, as many of my friend will contest to. Wonder if I approach my last employer they would still pay my fees? doubtful wouldn't you say? So if you have a mate who is a member, a pint or 2 will go a long way, to securing a good deal, maybe?

If your friends are mostly contesting it then how can we believe it?.

I'm one of those myself and I can also say "Bloody immigrants" for the same reason
What you think the Aged are the same as, your words not mine "bloody Immigrants" Just wait for our Scouse Friend to answer, he may not be as diplomatic as me, and he can be as ornery as anything, in typical Scouse Fashion. Tel where are you Mate? Help.
