I've bought the unite ones that @Vortigern linked to in another thread. I wasn't aware of them prior to that.
fair point !!You wouldn't use a NIC version of the regs would you ....... ?
Them's the ones. It's in this thread. The little pocket books ? I had a pair of those for the 16th edition. Very handy little books.
Just another scam the NICEIC have dreamed up to extract you hard earned, plenty of other deal's around where you can get both IET publications. ELEX as an example. On Site Guide is the proper one. I found it really annoying to have the Site Guide as part of the regs package.
Just remember IF you are an IET member, as I was before I retired you got a very good discount from them, as many of my friend will contest to. Wonder if I approach my last employer they would still pay my fees? doubtful wouldn't you say? So if you have a mate who is a member, a pint or 2 will go a long way, to securing a good deal, maybe?I got mine from forum sponsor @Test-Meter . No forum discount at the moment but still a deal on both as good as I've seen.

I.m sure you know what I mean oracle. If your friends are mostly contesting it then how can we believe it?.
No respect for the Aged then?Of course I do, it's just scoring points off the old guy!
I'm one of those myself and I can also say "Bloody immigrants" for the same reasonNo respect for the Aged then?
What you think the Aged are the same as, your words not mine "bloody Immigrants" Just wait for our Scouse Friend to answer, he may not be as diplomatic as me, and he can be as ornery as anything, in typical Scouse Fashion. Tel where are you Mate? Help.I'm one of those myself and I can also say "Bloody immigrants" for the same reason

I said that the Niceic guide isn’t bad actually but I didn’t want to come across as an Niceic sympathiser.what did you write originally?

Yeah if I had to choose I’d definitely go with the iet guide. The problem is that people think it’s a substitute for the OSG ....
They already have. It's in this thread.I liked the Unite pocket guide books, hope they bring out an updated version....

Yep, played this game with CEF. The IET book was useless. Unreadable six point typeface and most of the essential appeendacies missing. Swapped it straight back to and got the correct OSG; which, incidentally, was checked during my CPS assessment. On site guide every time, my wholesaler was doing a deal on site guide and regs bundle before they were launched. I put my name down for a set.
Only to find when they arrived it was the regs and the NIC site guide. I gave it back to the wholesaler and said I wanted the on site guide
