Hi gang
im currently testing a power station,
ive been told to use method 2 ie link live to neutral and test to earth on all the lighting circuits, which are all in SWA on tray with no switches in the circuits.

all readings ok so far, but the last couple are reading 0.00ohms.

these circuits have emergency light fittings in them but i thought using method 2 bypassed the load, can anyone offer an explanation please?

thanks

the e fittings have only 1 supply. in each area there are 2 lighting circuits, 1 from the 'essentill' db and 1 from the 'non-essential' db. the fittings on the essential db are emergencys. could be a cross between the neutrals between the 2 dbs.
