planning on having some two way switching put in but controlled from four places so will need to have intermediate switches I'm planning on controlling six rooms from different places inside a house so can turn downstairs room lights on from upstairs so not only two way switches but intermediate switches in between needs installing that would mean six pairs of strappers at each intermediate switch using 1.5mm three core and earth now the question is would that be too many cables at the intermediate switches or would it be ok planning all this work for security and wife's peace of mind.
many thanks for any advice.

for the benefit of anyone without pirate's knowledge, we have a fore mast, a main mast, and a mizzen mast. any one of these can be classed as intermediate, each will propel the ship, but lose one and you're in the fertilizer.

Recently I did just that...dropped my favourite Bahco adjustable down a cavity wall...
Using a length of terylene cord, fastened through a hole on a magnet salvaged from a hard drive (with a round turn and 2 half-hitches) I dropped the magnet down the cavity and it found the tool immediately, and up it came!
Very chuffed, I was...especially as it was a new wrench, which i had to buy because a wet-pants "borrowed" my original one
