Afternoon all,

I am pricing a job to install a 32a cooker circuit. Cable will be in trunking throughout entire run and will go through a cupboard between the hall and kitchen. Fed from a retrofit wylex MCB, Iso and outlet plate all surface mounted, no socket outlet on iso. Gas and Water bonding in place.

Will I need to put an RCD on this circuit? If so I was planning on running the feed from the board to a wylex RCD in a 2 way enclosure.

Thanks
Adam

^^^ agreed also but on another point, if you're running a 6mm cable in for a cooker, make sure you've de-rated it properly for being enclosed in conduit/trunking!
