Thank for your suggestion, could you recommend a place to buy that cable. I googled it but wondered if you know of a good place to get it from.

Personally I buy it from my local electrical wholesalers, but if you want an online source then essential supplies or 10 out of 10 productions sell it amongst others.
It's used extensively in the entertainment industry (and so am I).
 
I would always advise conduit weather galv or black pvc...you giving mechanical as well a uv protection. FP is a defo no...due to the air gap in the cable, will such up water like a straw.
 
I don't like hituff or nyy whatever you want to call it being exposed outside as, unless it has improved from years ago, it goes brittle when it gets cold.

Ho7-rnf is pretty damned tough too, will survive being clipped to the outside of a house or other location with a low likelihood of serious impact.
