What EICR code for plastic trunking in escape routes?

Hi to all. I'm new and this is my first post.
I'm doing an EICR on a 3 story building split into multiple offices to let.
One thing I noticed is t+e cables in plastic trunking almost throughout (switch/socket drops, across ceilings to lights etc).
Would this be a code 2 or 3? Also would same code be throughout or just in escape routes?
I understand it could potentially be dangerous (causing entanglement when melting/falling etc), but surely an EICR is regarding electrical safety and as far as I can see the installation is electrically safe!
Any views as it would be a massive job to correct.
Surely if its a C2 then most commercial buildings in the country would fail?
Should I just C3 it and suggest landlord gets a fire safety report done?

Why would it prematurely collapse, it has to be put up in accordance with the building regulations which require a ceiling to have a fire rating, all of this speculation is assuming that electricians has sufficient knowledge of the fire regulations to make an assessment of the danger, this is a specialist subject that any electrician should not get involved with IMO not part of the remit.

Remember collapse isn't how we see it; we see it as failing before the fire-rated time for the material (30-60-90 mins etc), in actuality the definition for 'premature collapse' on this instance is collapsing before firefighting activities (S&R, fire elimination, damping down) is completed and the crew removed, NOT the materials failing their rated times.

If it’s in plastic trunking or conduit it may collapse. If it’s above plaster board it wont. so no code.

Did you take the trunking lid off to check it didn’t have those d clip things holding the cables up?

(like old buckle clips that fix through the trunking)

And, assuming it was needed, how would you ensure continuity to each piece of metal grid strip?

Cross bond each bit, durr.....obvious.

Get a roll of 4mm single cut into 6" strips with a ring crimp on either end, then an impact driver and a box of self drillers and Bob's your aunties brother.

Oh, nearly forgot the 16mm back to the MET. I usually run four of them just in case some clown alters the ceiling and removes one.
