I’m machines supply is coming from a sub D.B. I’m using 16mm 5core armour coming from sub D.B to SPD. Then from SPD to a Tp RCD outdoor industrial socket with isolator on it. Then from industrial socket to the machine. Does this sound right? Thanks again
Hi. Thanks for your reply. The SPD I’ve been given is an SPD/T2/tns4p.
I think it’s just to protect the machine from surges and that’s why it’s to be no further than 10m away from the machine.

Hi there. I’m looking for some help on how to wire up a SPD for a 3 phase machine. I’ve been told by the company that supplied the machine that the SPD must not be any further than 10 meters away from the machine. The SPD connections are—- L1 L2 L3 N at the top and...

Yes mate. The ufh kit came with 1x actuator and wiring centre with all the terminals that you've mentioned. I've since spoken to the manufacturer ( John guest) and they said I wouldn't need to use an actuator as I'm only using one heating loop from the manifold. They also said I could wire it...

Hi there. I'm working in a large office block and I'm replacing some emergency modular fittings. There are a couple of grey wires that look like cat5 but only 2core black and red and they are connected into a positive and negative connection on the light fitting. Does anyone know what this is...
I've been given a couple of fluke domestic part p certificate books. I know that part p applies to England and Wales building regs but I was wondering if I could still use these types of certificates in Scotland
