    Can't you just fuse each valve? I know it's more work, but it would scale with capacity that way. If you had a dead short in a single valve, it would blow the fuse locally at the valve, rendering it dead, but keeping everything else alive and working for your FX.     Don't think the zones comes into it. A Bathroom is a special location, same as a Kitchen. Providing it's not an upgrade/swap in the same location, it's new, so notifiable.

    Problem: Reliant on Overcurrent for protection against damage to tails, damage could present an electric shock risk inside the house if there is damp etc. In fact, a high ohms fault to the tails might not trip the cutout...ever, but it will make a wall or floor live if it's damp and kill...

    Robin Multifunction Tester has an IRDA port for printing results to an IRDA (infrared) printer or sending them to a PC. The Robin 1630 is a 202 era tester.
