My preference is Eddys, mainly because they are the biggest in my area and have more stock which saves me a trip to several wholesalers to pick up kit that is needed.
Received my order today also, I ordered one box of 50 and received..1 ha. Sent a mesage asking where the other 49 are, the company are no longer listing lever wago's on there online store so I imagine someone has had a telling off and they have been removed.
I have the 16 piece Draper one, I quite like it although I don't use it too often. Initially I was going to get the Wera set but that only goes up to 3Nm whereas the Draper (and wiha i believe) go up to 5Nm.
Thanks for the responses. My order comes with a MakPac case, but I'm not a great fan of them. I'm going to order that as it is a better alternative for me personally.
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to track down this Makita case from a UK website, I can only find it in the US at the moment. I've emailed Makita, but they were notoriously slow last time I emailed them so thought I'd try my luck here in the mean time, cheers.
I have the Titan wall chaser from Screwfix which I used on a rewire and it was spot on. It has twin blades which you can ammend the width and depth of. Set it to it's max of 30mm wide, then afterwards went round with an Armeg angled 'scoop' chisel on my SDS drill to remove the chase. Takes...
I'm also looking on the plumbers forum for more info ha. Just seen your post.
I'm with Wiltshire council, but finding it hard to find any specific information online. Annoying really because I don't want a large unit on the house and I don't plan to live in it for too long so won't really see...
Hi guys,
Does anybody know what the rules are concerning new builds and heating systems. Currently going through planning application for a new build and I have heard that gas central heating systems are no longer allowed by a guy from the council and that we need to have a heat pump system...

Seems to be purely an American set up at the moment with 120v out, but imagine a UK variant will come along.
I saw a post from an american tool reviewer and there was a unit that you can plug a load of these batteries into and get 110v out of it, so portable 110v. Not the cheapest solution I imagine, but pretty good if it works.
Used some Eco Firestay LED downlights which were pretty good recently. They come with changeable bezels in white and chrome, pre flexed and come with connector. The best part I found was a switch on the back of the fitting which allows you to switch between warm-cool-daylight which is great for...
I have the DHR243z with the 5.0Ah batteries, it is superb. Got mine from FFX also for £199 a few months back (£209 currently).
Just picked up the DSS610z circular saw as well on Amazon for £89 quid - absolute bargain!
