    Sorry! I was trying to be funny; obviously not. When It is not practical or economic to rewire the whole house (I'm exaggerating) and a simple solution solves the problem and doesn't break the regulations, then it is justifiable.

    It's just an old house. That's what they did in our day. I'm surprised to see the MCBs; very modern!! The sentry range will be too long but the Hager range of MCBs will fit the old MK boards. Worth a try. Cheers Ken
