telectrix, Tks for your feedback. So even if I had both ovens going and all 4 rings are on the hob, do the diversity factors mean that my 32mcb can handle it? Paul

Wilko, yes, I have a variety of insulation, continuity and voltage testers. I might even still have some neon screwdrivers (which I won't be using). Paul

Hi,ard I wondered if someone could give me a bit of advice please? I'm fitting an electric hob to replace my old gas hob, which is fitted above an electric double oven. The oven is hard-wired to a connection point behind it on the wall. This is fed from a standard cooker switch on the wall...
