Hi all i was hoping for some advice, I am carrying out an annual emergency lighting test tomorrow in a hotel. Part of the hotel is no longer in use and all supplies have been locked off. Should this part of the building still have emergency lighting in place in case emergency services need access ?
Yes i tested on socket terminals for my readings. Also checked connections were tight when i thought the readings were high. I think i may have thought the readings were high when it doesnt matter judging by the above posts.
I am testing R1 & r2 by connecting the earth and live at the db and testinbg on ohms at the sockets (furthest point). My Ze is 0.09 and my zs readings were roughly between 0.20 and 0.35. The RCBO's are tripping in time for x1 and x5. I may be wrong but i thought these R1 & r2 readings were high...

Also could you ex[lain what you mean when you are talking about the rcd test in the right order L - N, L- E, N - E. Do you not just use the plug attachment for the test set ?
