    Well its existing. If im only making an addition i would only provide for what im doing no? Rest of kitchen from what i can tell was just left. not touched. they have just done new floor and units, gas oven. but the fitters have layed heated floor and bought cables up into a single box already...

    Yes i totally get that. So as can see its case of Pre install test of all circuits on existing to check no potential nuisance tripping of RCD. Then Install but test only the works i have done, being a circuit to Board From NEW main switch RCD

    Yeah....but all cables n boxes been installed (not by me) and they located above worktop in kitchen. I think this would be best option hands down but got a sneaky feeling she wont go for "the look" of a RCD spur above work top in new stylish kitchen... Great idea tho mate...n im sure as gonna...

    SO client got old MEM board , Mcb's but no Rcd. She got some Underfloor heating to be installed. But cant afford new RCD Board. Suggested just as cost effective option just putting in RCD Main Switch before board. obviously not as practical but serves the purpose. Question is if What is the...
