    FCU off ring final circuit

    I have installed two lighting points in a garage through a FCU connected to a ring final circuit. When testing the installation would I treat the FCU as a distribution board and add my R1 + R2 from the furthest light to the FCU? Or would I need to include the R1 + R2 of the ring circuit too?

    Kitchen Electrics - FCU required or not?

    Evening all... Just wondering.. whenever I do a kitchen, I always put a switched fused spur above the worktop for each applaince, then and unswitched socket in adjacent cupboard. But recently been to look at a job and the customer really dosent want this. Have read on here somewhere before...

    FCU location

    Might be a silly question but... Is there any way a FCU can be housed above an extraction fan I.e, yes above a cooker but protected by the cooker hood its self! I know an accessory cannot be placed if you have to reach over the cooker but would it ever need to be touched except to maybe change...
