Multiple Halogens to one Transformer

Hi I am currently doing a project and wondered how many halogen bulbs (40 watt) i could link together to one transfomer/power source. If anyone has any thoughts on this i would appreciate any help or advise. Thanks

Flood Light Option, (Non halogen)

I have a customer who would like a flood light at the side of there house, They dont want a standard 150w-300w or G9 halogen type fitting. They asked about the option of 1 large powerfull floodlight about loft hight facing straight down and spreading the light across the distance of the side...

Flicking MR11 & 16 halogen lamps

Hi All, Out of curiosity has anyone else experienced the odd phenomenon of having to occasionally give a sharp flick of a finger (;) no not to the Mrs you dirty minded lot) to a halogen downlight lamp which then stays lit for a time only to extinguish where-upon another flick, lights it fire...

500w halogen floodlights

Hi Guys, Getting really frustrated,today I did a job for a regular customer on his new house.He wanted me to replace fourteen 500w halogen security lights that had just rotted away over the last two years,anyway he asked me to put up some better quality ones.Been asked to do this many times...

Blowing 500W Halogens

Hi guys, did an installation back in May which included a couple of 500W halogens overlooking a car park. One bulb blew after about 3 months and now both have blown again a couple of times. I tested the circuit when the first bulb blew quickly and all appeared ok, so just thought it was a duff...
