Discuss 10v rcd backfeed? in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

hi guys

if i test between live and neutral on a lighting circuit which is rcd protected
and the mcb is off . why do i get about 10v on my volt tester? a mate said something about backfeed from the rcd? is this true if so can you explain why?
