Hi folks. Just like to pick your brains for a minute. The other day I had to fit a 63a 30ma (50a mcb) shower unit for a customer having a new shower fitted who didnt want a new consumer unit (old wylex board). Split the tails with a henley block but what a job connecting them in the unit. They had to be 25mm because the service fuse was 100a but it was a real nightmare and Im sure there must be an easier way so i was wondering if any of you guys had had a similar problem and what was your solution.Ive got a few more jobs like this coming up so any suggestions would be appreciated. Many thanks ..Jon

Your tails can be 10mm as the 50A mcb limits the current that can be drawn through them, this would be ok only if your little shower board is one way and cant be added to for another circuit.
