Hello I have recently finished my nvq level 3 in electrical installation, I also have the 17th edition qualification, I am from Sunderland could anybody give me tips on how to get into the industry, also any advice on which Ecs card to get would be greatly appreciated

If you have the NVQ level 3 you will be eligible for a electricians graded gold card. You wouldn't have to sit the CSCSECS exam as having just gained the NVQ you would have a "valid exemption" for three years. To complete the NVQ you must have gained some experience to complete the portfolio part of the NVQ? If you don't have much experience I would try looking for electricians mate/improver jobs failing that wing it on an agency. Once you have your JIB card you shouldn't find it difficult to get agency work. Good luck :smile5:

Is it definitely the NVQ level 3 you have done and not C+G 2365 level 3?
